Drawing a torii gate is an effective way to observe your perspective and line work. Torii gates are conventional Japanese gates that mark the doorway to a Shinto shrine. They’re usually made from wooden or stone, and encompass two pillars with a crossbar on prime. The pillars are often barely flared on the backside, and the crossbar is barely curved.
To attract a torii gate, begin by drawing two vertical traces for the pillars. Then, draw a horizontal line for the crossbar. Join the ends of the crossbar to the tops of the pillars with two extra vertical traces. Lastly, add a small roof to the highest of the gate. You can too add some ornamental particulars, resembling lanterns or wind chimes.
